Cigarettes become, for most people, part of a coping mechanism to deal with emotional pressures like stress, fear, anxiety and boredom. Hypnosis is an excellent tool for learning ‘why’ by uncovering the subconscious motivation to smoke. It is an excellent tool to changing habits and emotional associations that drive behavior
If an individual truly wants to quit and is willing to put in the effort, they can successfully be a non-smoker for life.

Hypnosis & Childbirth

In this preparation, the aim is to have expectant mothers view birth in a positive manner with the belief that childbirth does not have to be painful. Women choosing hypnosis for childbirth are taught self-hypnosis to enable control of the degree and manner in which they feel labor contractions and the process of birth. A support person or birth partner, is encouraged to be with the woman in the classes and during labor, but, is not a requirement for hypnosis and childbirth participation.

Studies have shown that mothers using hypnosis in childbirth use less pain medication and rate their pain as less severe. Hypnosis may be a good choice for moms who want a pain relief option other than medication, or, to use less medication.
Unlike medication, hypnosis has no side effects or risks.
